Hydrangea Strawberries & Cream and Blueberries & Cream are deliciously lovely gift Hydrangeas. They are so striking, they make brilliant, living, flower arrangements ... to have at home, or to give as a present. Being lacecap Hydrangeas, each flower-head is a combo of open colourful florets wrapped around unopened cream buds at the centre. Which is why they are so aptly named Hydrangea Strawberries & Cream and Hydrangea Blueberries & Cream. They have a lovely deep green foliage and flower generously in early spring. Hydrangea Blueberries & Cream has true, clear blue flowers with pale blue to white buds at the centre. The open flowers of Hydrangea Strawberries & Cream are rich strawberry red with white flushed with pink buds at the centre. This series has so many uses - line them up on your window sill, use them as floral decorations, give them as a gift instead of a bunch of flowers or tuck them into a container together with a mix of other plants to create gorgeous pots. Grown under licence in New Zealand. Top Tip: If your blue hydrangeas are turning mauve, you need to lower your pH by adding Aluminium Sulphate powder - 1 tablespoon in a bucket of water and soak into the soil around each plant in early spring and again 4 and 8 months later.
